Rebel Thaiboxing Racks Up Big Wins at Madison Square Garden!

The Rebel Fight Team was back in action this time for Triumph Kombat at The Worlds Most Famous Arena, Madison Square Garden!

First up was one of our newest Coaches/Fighters Sean Walborn. Unfortunately Sean went into this fight with a bad hip injury and wasn't able to perform as he usually does. Sean lost to a great opponent from Ultimate Gym. Sean will be back in action at TBA World Championships in late June.

Opening up the Main Card of the night Ricky Mora faced Allan Stoffel in a rematch from their previous fight at USMTO. The 45 year old once again proved that age is just a number as he showed great boxing in his fight winning unanimously.

Lastly we had fighter/coach Jorge Quintanilla who faced a really strong, experienced and bigger opponent in Victor Canales from Renzo Gracie. Victor showed his strength early on in the fight putting the pressure on Jorge. Jorge maintained his composure and used his height and well placed and timed counters to keep him at bay. In the later rounds Jorge engaged the clinch and scored some big knees and sweeps. A big spinning back elbow landed at the end of the 2nd round which wobbled his opponent. Jorge would win unanimously!

This was a spectacular event which Head Coach Eddie, Coach Mike and Coach Dave have been producing at Madison Square Garden. The event had a great turnout with over 2,500 fight fans in attendance. Look out for the next Triumph Kombat show on June 29th.
